New Republic Ranking Structure
Private
The starting rank in the New Republic. Usually inexperienced in combat and requires guidance from more experienced troopers.
Private First Class
A step up from a regular Private, usually more experienced in combat and has fair knowledge about how things are conducted.
Specialist
A senior enlisted rank that has been around long enough to have a good chunk of combat experience and knowledge.
Corporal
Leadership roles usually start coming in at this rank. Experienced in combat and knowledge, this trooper is trusted with assistance in leading a team.
Sergeant
These troopers have advanced their skills in leadership and are entrusted with leading an entire team. They are heavily experienced in combat and knowledge that they know what is expected.
Staff Sergeant
Troopers at this rank are heavily experienced in leadership and are entrusted with a squad of troopers.
Sergeant First Class
Leadership skills have been mastered by troopers at this rank, they command multiple troopers with ease and are trusted in helping higher ranks run a platoon.
Master Sergeant
A step up from Sergeant First Class, these troopers are usually entrusted with more tasks that need to be ran through the platoon to ensure effectiveness.
1st Lieutenant / 2nd Lieutenant
These troopers usually have mastered every bit of prior knowledge on combat and leadership to guarantee effectiveness in the field. As well being trusted with the platoon they are given.
Captain
Troopers that have achieved this rank are entrusted with the command of a company. They've mastered combat experience, leadership, and basic knowledge.
